Doctoral Programmes
A candidate seeking admission into PhD/DTech programme must:
i. Have an MPhil/MSc/MTech. degree in related areas from an accredited university.
ii. Submit an official transcript of academic records.
iii.Submit three refereeís reports, two of which must be from someone who is familiar with the applicantís academic work.
iv.Submit a 3 to 5-page research proposal of his/her intended research area.
v. Pass an interview.
Eligible candidates into the DTech programme must possess one of the following qualifications or requirements:
a) Research masters (MTech, MPhil, or MSc, or its equivalent) in Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronics and Agricultural Mechanisation Engineering.
b) Any other research-oriented master's programme at the second-degree level in a related field. Applicants whose master's degree is solely research would be required to take relevant taught courses as prerequisites.
