ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
(a) SSSCE/WASSCE APPLICANTS
SSSCE/WASSCE holders must have passes (A-D)/(A1-C6) in the following three core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science, plus credit passes (A-E)/(A1-D7) in three science-based elective subjects.
(b) GCE - 'A' LEVELS
Passes in three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade E or better) at GCE ‘A’ Level including Mathematics and any two from the following: Physics, Elective Mathematics, Chemistry, and either Physics or Biology. In addition, the applicant must have credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and an Arts subject.
(c) TECHNICAL/VOCATIONAL SCHOOL APPLICANTS
Candidates with passes in six (6) subjects comprising three (3) core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, plus Chemistry and any two (2) relevant trade courses such as refrigeration and air-conditioning, plumbing and gas fitting, Industrial Maintenance, Foundry, etc.
(d) MATURE APPLICANTS
Mature applicants must:
be at least twenty-five (25) years old (A birth/Baptismal certificate is required)
have at least three years of working experience in industry.
pass written aptitude test (English Language, and Mathematics,).
(e) FOREIGN APPLICANTS
Prospective students who have completed second-cycle education in other jurisdictions may be allowed to join the programme after assessment of their grades by the Department.
