The department was accredited in 2017 to run a two-year Master of Technology (MTech) in Water and Environmental Engineering. The MTech programme provides highly skilled BTech and other undergraduates the specialized knowledge and skills to do research and take up high-level positions in the water and environment industry, and further strengthens the competencies of industry experts for socio-economic and manpower development of Ghana and the world at large.
